Drayton dentists support charity for homeless war veterans

October 8, 2018

Drayton Dental has donated a piece of dental equipment to a new charity that provides dental help to homeless war veterans. Our autoclave, which forms part of our decontamination suite (and is pictured sitting next to the cardboard box), has been given to Southampton Veterans Drop-in Centre.

The charity Den-tech and Blueprint Dental have teamed up with the Southampton Veterans Drop-in Centre to form the first Vets Bite Back surgery and on-site dental laboratory that will provide free dental care for homeless veterans. The Vets Bite Back initiative is the brainchild of Alan Wright of Blueprint Dental and Colin Gaylor of the Southampton Veterans Drop-in Centre.

Dental equipment has already started to arrive from across the UK. Care is not limited to veterans of Southampton, but to begin with and until more surgeries are launched, veterans will need to come to Southampton for treatment. We are very pleased to be able to support such a worthy cause.
